“NICANT” polyamide surgical yarn with co-polyamide covering and doxycycline sterile

Registration Certificate 2007/00193 of Federal Registration Service from June, 25th, 2007. The «NICANT» yarn is authorized for use by Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and has been used in surgical practice since 1995 as suture for organs and tissues. The “NICANT” yarn was awarded the Silver medal at 42nd International Fair in Brussels.

The “NICANT” yarn is a polyamide impregnated twisted or braided surgical yarn with antibacterial properties. It shows antibacterial activity within 7-10 days. The yarn has high biocompatibility, compactness, provides reliable surgeon's knot. Pharmaceutical composition in “NICANT” yarn reduces reaction of tissues to a foreign body like suture, promotes reduction of of pyoinflammatory complications, reduces the treatment period. Strength and handling characteristics of the yarn correspond to the world standards.

The yarn is produced in lengths of 0,75; 1,5; 3 m.

Conventional counts are 4/0 (1,5); 3/0 (2); 2/0 (3); 0 (3,5); 1 (4); 2 (5); 3 (6).

Application

 In general surgery: elective operations, emergency operations, for preventive maintenance of postoperative purulent complications.

• In proctology, maxillofacial surgery, urology, cosmetology, field surgery, gynecology, for primary treatment of wounds. 
• In conditions of bacterial pollution of wound surfaces, at presence of dormant infection in tissues.
• In cases of purulent-septic diseases, secondary seams included.
• In oncology - at immunodeficiency of an organism.
• In any other operations in conditions of emergency (accidents, military conflicts, fires, etc.).
